It's been freakin' ages since i posted anything. So I think it's high time I did.

Been through alot since the previous journal entry so i'll sum up whats been happening.

I've moved a great number of times. I moved twice in Queensland and after failing to find solid, long lasting work there i went down the similar path of self worth issues. This time was different though.. i was a stronger being. I fought back with vigilance and dropped everything and did something i really wanted to do. I volunteered in an art glalery for a good couple of months. That gave me wonderous insight and inspiriation. The Gallery Director was a fantastic lady and i give my shoutouts to her

But after much time loafing and sweating my ass off in the dry, barren plains of Queensland the decision was made to take what we could fit in 2 cars and a trailer and make a BIG move to Tasmania!. WOW what a ride! My gorgeous v8 Falcon didn't even hiccup the entire way as we drove 1,200 kms to Sydney where we boarded the spirit of tasmania. With no Jobs and only just securing a rental house 2 days before we left (by we I mean my Folks and I)we pushed forward onto our new lives.

The Boat. Horrid, disgusting and almost demoralizing journey! I've never been so sick in my life.. and i swear my dad was trying his hardest to bring up his stomach. Once we docked we all staggered (literally) off the ferry and spent the next 2 days recovering at a gorgeously picturesque backpacker hostel out in the middle of know where. Such peace and quiet!. from there we ventured onwards to Launceston, where out rental house awaited us!. we got there and it was horrid. we only had the pictures they had on the web to look from .. and all i can say is i nearly wept. Everyday i kept expecting to come home and see my car stolen after spending no more than 4 months there my father secured a full time job in a awesome little town called Scottsdale. We currently live in a gorgeous house, in a wonderful town, surrounded by mountains that almost always have snow on them. perfect place to get inspired to create again. so what did I do?

WELL .. thats easy! i started my drawing again and have been doing so solidly for the past couple of months. i already filled one book of, admittedly, crappy drawings. But we all need to start somewhere. Ultimately i'm still trying to get human figures licked :/ having trouble with faces lol and hands and general body shape. but i'll be posting some pictures i've done in my time and will hopefully draw some critque from the people here

Well sorry for the rediculously long post but there you have it Expect a lot of updates from me on the work i'm doing. they'll mostly be in my scraps. and not a lot, if any, are complete. but i'll get there!.
